OberforCapital Project Advisory

Hong Kong

The decisions that set the cost of an industrial project are made before anyone breaks ground

Oberfor advises owners and contractors on how a capital project is put together — how it is packaged, contracted, governed and supplied. We work one level above the site: not running the construction, but building the system the construction runs on.

01 — Advisory

How the project is set up

Delivery model, contracting strategy, package boundaries, interface management and assurance at the gates — with a separate, deep line in fire, process and environmental safety.

02 — Procurement & Supply

Complex and single-build equipment

Specification, supplier qualification, acceptance criteria — and the supply itself, sourced from wherever the equipment is actually made.

Where projects are actually lost

A scope defined to seventy per cent at contract award is not a project with a thirty per cent gap. It is a project with open-ended cost exposure.

A schedule built on assumed lead times is fiction. And reporting drifts not because anyone lies, but because every level of the project makes one small, defensible adjustment.

Our method addresses those three failures directly, in that order. See the approach.

How we work

Small core, assembled team

A permanent core extended by a network of vetted specialists mobilised for the specific project. You are told who does what before the work starts.

Independence is structural, not claimed

Advisory is paid on a fixed or time basis and does not depend on the volume of equipment purchased. Where we act as principal on supply, that is stated in writing.

Hong Kong contract, international delivery

The contracting entity, the governing law and the liability sit in Hong Kong.

Deliverables, not presence

Every engagement is defined by the document it produces and the decision that document supports.

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are useful

Send the project stage, the scope as it currently stands, and the decision you are facing.
